Took the sr out tonight for a shakedown before PV,done a few changes on it over the winter, :thumb:

Does it scrub? My old Merit scrubbed like hell on standard arches?

Lovely and clean. White looks stunning, imo does need a drop.. But you know me.

Joe, it looks well..
I prefer it on the original wheels though, it sounds daft but it's too clean for Speedlines.

It doesn't scrub ,I was very wary of this tonight because the speedlines have brand new tyres on but there low profile :)
And im not dropping it anymore lol

Cant wait to see her again at PV and will be good to catch up with you as its been a while, ill warn you now though ill be rather drunk both days haha!
Looks spot on to me Joe! I think the allesios make it look far better in my opinion...... If the ride height was dropped considerably more it would only lose the standard look even more so that you like and you would lose more comfort too. Im looking forward to occupying the passenger seat for pv by the way. :)

Its still not quite finished Spud! I want it to be the finished article before people see it so they can see how its changed and the efforts that have gone it etc. I havent had the time recently for it so Im afraid it wont be at pv. Given a few more weekends though should see it sorted :)

Looks nice.
IMO it looks alot better on the 3 spokes, plus it would drive alot better on 14's, with it being a 1300.
Wheels do nowt for me. Clean SR though :thumb:
Aye i know youve said it before Nick but ive not had a car for a while due to job/money problems, but i do now so you might just find me popping round for a mince one weekend:thumb:

Very welcome mate, cos apart from the speedlines that have upset the haters, what have you done to it, other than take it off the road and keep it away from road salt and protect it for six months, hmmmmmm lol

seviced it
removed front bumper and refitted it better.
replaced door bump strips on drivers side.
painted brakes.
fitted speedlines.
fitted new dealer spec numberplates.
and yeah kept it away from the salt hahalol
What is the mileage on it?

Humm im not sure on Speedlines either, Maybe some tigra five spokes? and slight drop would look better..
BUT still it's a very very lovely looking SR, and i spotted the plate change as your car was on the features calender last month, and i really didn't like them old plates! lol
Look forward to meeting you and the car at PV mate.
And Nick i totally understand your reasons for not taking your car to PV.
