iirc 30 days of night is a story of a town above the Arctic circle (where during certain periods of the the sun is up all the time and vice versa on another part of the year) lots of people get together and leave the town, leaving behind a few people to "caretake" When the darkness come so does something else (kinda like vampires, but more uber vampires, they kill lots of people apart from the main cast who decided to fight back after running low on supplies and spending days watching out the window as the uber vampy things hunt their friends out. So they go out and look for better shelter & food etc, get caught by the uber vampy things get picked off one by one, in the end there are 3 left, guy girl and kid (i think) guy gets bitten who starts to turn into uber vamp, but just before he goes to the "Dark side" he attacks the leader of the uber vamps who he kills, eventually, then the sun comes up and guy dies.

I think thats about it.

Bearing in mind, I could be COMPLETELY off as I saw it once and got fed up with cliché's and boredom.

It brings unthought of aspects to table though, things you'd never have even considered.

I'm a bog wuss but it didn't scare me. the again it was a shaky cam version before it came out here
