Going to fit a f20 with quaif LSD diff onto my 2.5 v6 astra, would like to know what gearbox oil to get.

dont skimp on oil,
get something decent like

thanx, will order is tomorrow. The gearbox is ment for the xe thats going in the nova but I just wana get this astra on da road asap

Iirc it's 1.9litres and just make sure it's gearbox/diff oil

1.9 litres will be ok. Quaife diffs arent too bad and pretty much maintainence free. As for oil grade motul oil is ok 75-90 springs to mind used to run that in a quaife box. You could put 4 litres in but it wont do the box any good!

Syn 5 is THE WORST gearbox oil I've ever had the misfortune of using!!!!!!!

DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!!!!!

For a Quiffe ATB, you can run it on std GM gearbox oil (Dex III mostly)
