Many moons ago i had a vey nice skyway teardrop that endded up getting stollen from my garage.
Since then i have alway wanted to get another Bmx just for messing about on.
Well today was one of them days.
I was walking my dog when i came past a skip only to see what looked like a Bmx handle bar sticking out.On closer look it was a chrome framed Bmx so thought i would go and knock on the door to see if it was ok to have a look.
The chap answered the door and was more than happy to let me take it away.
Result.
Once it was out the skip i was greated by a Haro Bmx so was well chuffed but didnt let on.

so out came the auto sole and i got polishing.

All it needed was the front brake free'd off and some air in the tyres.
Once all this was done i thought i would go and see if i still had some of me old bmx tricks lol.
After pulling off a spot on bunny hop i thought i would go for a wheely past the local school girls.
At this point the front wheel popped up and was then followed by the back wheel going strait under me and me landing on my ar5e.
Didnt hurt lol well untill i got down the road abit.
Epic fail but still nice to have a bmx back in my life to play on.
It still needs some tlc but i just couldnt wait to take it out.

nice find!! not keen on the old school bikes but i would love another bmx. my old one cost more than my Nova :eek: and i sold it for ridiculously less :tard:

I was thinking about getting some new stickers for the forks as there a bit scratched up but would want the same as on there if you have any contacts would be good.

I'v got a white proper rim laced with a coalition hub, 8 or 9 tooth i think, with a primo comet tyre i'd let go for cheap, a few stems and bars but dont know of any Haro parts but i'l let you know if i come across anything

it worked for me the other day - found a fiver laying next to a neighbours garage when i got the car out and when i put it back at night i found a tenner!! :) lol

I walk dogs for about 8 hrs a day so always on the look out.
I found a fiver yesterday aswell.happy days.

I had an all chrome KHE lagger that I built from the frame up, was tricker than a trick thing, radial laced 48spoke, peregrine madd max rims, G-sport front hub, freecoaster rear, import 3-piece aluminium black widow cranks, zero-rake forks, 100PSI tyres, 4-piece odyssey milk bars...

That is how I rolled for 4 whole good years of my yuf lol Odessey shin killer pedals, Mazzis Ringworms, 3 spoke plastic mags, then onto big walled radials, then onto the front end of a Cavalier GLS at 55mph :(

BTW, does anyone know if DIG Magazine is still going??

Haro Shredder (maybe even the Deluxe?), from about 95 / 95 from what i can remember, i used to have the exact same one (Deluxe), pretty sure it was about £350 - £400 at the time as well.

Cool find! I used to have a Harro zippo. Not quite as oldskool as the Raleigh burner tho lol that white burner looks awesome. I've wanted another bmx for a while now. I'm just waiting for someone to give one away. Ha ha.

I had a lord hoodie when I was at college, it got me banned from one subject for having an upside down cross on it, the tutor was part of the god squad :(

All these pics make me wanna get riding again. I had an on-one the gimp (quite fitting) dirt jumping bad boy until some lame sad act nicked it :(
