why does the boot rattle

now then! my boot rattles like mad on the outside and i dont understand why? anyone help?

loose panel inside the boot.

ouside the boot- number plate, locking mech, plastic trim, and sometimes spoiler rattle.

You need to get it all soundproofed, eg dyno mat

You were not very presice about the rattling noise but i would guess that it was your numberplate touching the boot. You would be able to tell from openening the boot if the lock or handle was loose.

u could try windin the little rub bits out there almost like bump stops just wind em out abit itll b harder to shut ur boot but it should stop it shakin abit
