They did show up with guns, thats the point and why its on the news. Israeli solders boarded the "aid" ship as it crossed a blockade. People on said ship then attacked the Israeli soldiers with various weapons, in defence the Israeli's fired back, killing 9 "innocents".

The thing that amused me is how Israel is getting heat for shooting 9 people, yet they did make it clear they wouldn't allow the ship to pass the blockade. And their forces were attacked when they boarded the ships.

No offence to the guys on the boats, but the Israeli reputation isn't one of sitting back and doing nothing (like the UK/US/NATO/UN etc). Not really the kind of people you want to harass lol
