Right guys, after some insperation.
After my new engine is collected, I need to order my pipes etc to get it all in and ready for paint.
Car is a carmine RED gte rep, with the bay the same colour etc.
All suspention is powder coated black.
With a fearless strut brace.
So, what colour hoses?
Water
Ancilleries
Vaccuum
Breather
Boost
Lots to get, do I go red? Blue? etc
Pics of bays:)
Black IMO
Too much red is a no no !
When you say 'get it all in and ready for paint', surely you want the engine out to paint the bay when you have it painted ?

White hoses are ghay imho.
Edd, its all going in, box mount needs welding, and the front end needs abit of strengtheneing.
Im then going to cut/sort the intercooler space. and plumb it all up.
Put the engine in, run it up to temp etc, check it boosts fine etc, and runs care free.
Then all out, for paint:p
Can't you get pink Samco hoses now? Might be right up your street :gay:

I wanted yellow hoses in my convertible thought they would look good in a red bay.

blue it is then :thumb:
theres still going to be something orange in that car though! im insisting!:d
I tried blue in my red bay years ago and to be honest it looked pap as they obviously stand out. I then went red which looked much better in my opinion but still tend to stand out. If Id have kept the car I would in time have gone back to either roose black jobbies or standard gm hoses. It all depends on what look your going for Matt. The gm used look hoses will tend to hide themselves better and in an engine bay full of c20let thats a good thing as many seem to look so untidy. Although the pic below isnt the best their should be more on my wip if you take a look.

Red on a red car does work fella. But black may be the best to hide all pipework of a let etc. Depends if your going to go through the hassles of hiding as much as you can like shaun did with mine. I dont think I have any shots with blue hoses Im afraid. But I assure you In my opinion it wasnt pretty!
Edit...... Older but better shot!

Me likey lol
Im hiding the loom, and the wiring will be neat.
The boost pipes will be polished etc.
Blue is a big no IMO, will contrast with the red too much. Same goes for green. And orange!
Red could work if you can keep them looking clean.
My vote would be yellow though - the one colour that goes with everything.

Cheers fella, much loves:d lol
Erm, Im feeling RED definatly atm, as the shiny bits will look good with it, and everything around it will go.
May go for black boost pipes, as too much red, maybe too muchlol

What about transparent (if it existed)? At least you'd be able to see everything working flowing fine :d
