How much would it take to convert a nova to an Xe

i allready have the brakes and suspension

so a price on engine shafts hubs etc

£200-£500 for an engine.

£20 for a pump

£30 for a tank (may not need)

£100 for shafts and cv's

can cross pump and tank off his is mpi at mo

so £250-300 for lump
shafts depends what ya want £100 for 22 splines and cav cvs
£40 for mounts from valvers for 3 hole gearbox spacer (id recomend this)

are you running gsi shafts at mo or 1.poo

buy a full calibra for peanuts get the engine and strip the car sell the bits and weigh the shell in there was a valver one localy for £400 recently will almost be a free engine by the time you have weighed the shell in and sold the bits

i was lucky enought to come across a engine for a 1er with f20 box cos a mate crashed his redtop and engine was undamaged but engine's come up loads everywhere ie here , ebay

Depends who you are and what bits come your way at the time, ive seen £1500 XE novas (christians sexy calypso red GTE) and ive seen £500 XE's aswell, i know robs engine, box, shafts, loom tank everything came on a pre converted (rotten) nova he acquired from a certain mr Smith and swapped all the good bits from the babba shell into a sexy arden blue twelve door shell to create his sexy blue loon (which he still needs to bloody well finish :p)

i would go closer to 1k tbh, with all the small bits, faffing about etc.

but it depends how much/quickly you want it, and if you get any proper bargins.

Best bet would be to buy a donor car this is what my mate did for his astra. calibra redtop £300 with mot and tax lol
