my car tax runs out today. (31st) but all the post offices are shut..
is it okay to drive my car today?

Yes but it won't stop a traffic warden putting a ticket on your car, tax it online.

Do it online, even though you wont get the tax disc for a couple of days it will show as taxed on the database.

Go to the post office, it shows the Gov we still need and want them.
