im after the U shaped prong which holds the dizzy in place.

no such thing on a xe ;)
?? My dizzy bolts straight to the head mate, are there different ones on the xe as i just thought it was one type for the dizzy version

they do fit, but you need some how to mount it
would one of the brackets from say a 1.2 etc fit? ive seen one somewhere in the garage

ok ill explain, i need to blank of my dizzy as its in the chevette, and i thought you use one of those brackets like on a 1.2 to hold the blanking plate on.
if it just bolts on, then i should be ok lol

im guessing i can make some kind of flat bracket like in that pic, with the alloy disc behind it lol.

im running megajolt? and there isnt any room for anything apart from a blanking plate that end of the engine lol

if you have enough room to fit one of those brackets you have enough room to fit the sensor which would blank of the end of the dizzy !!!!
failing that get a core plug made tap in in the hole !!!
sbd blanks aren't that expensive iirc.
