im getting the management light on my c14se conversion, is that the sensor thats boled to the bulkhead?

Yes it is it controls the fuelling on that engine. Have you checked the wiring to it, those codes more often than not hint wiring issues.

ill have a check of the wiring should there be a vaccum pipe on that sensor?

yeah vac pipe to the inlet manifold MAP = Manifold absolute pressuse :)

hmm i dont have a pipe going to it plus i cant see where one would connect to it

yeah as long as its got one buddy, IIRC its a fairly thick one though.

cheers i must have something connected wrong, starts and idles fun just need a linkage bush so a can drive it lol

lol have you had it un plugged with the ignition on? could have looged that fault, by rights it shouldnt run without the map sensor connected, they normally just start and rev to 3000 ish and the stop lol.

well i got the car started and noticed the eml on so turned it off and flashed the codes and got map sensor

i started the car then unplugged it and the car nearly cut out untill i plugged it back in

now you have me thinking.......have i got my vacume pipe connected in the wrong place???? mine is on the side of the throttle body

If there isnt a vac pipe connected to the sensor, it must be tucked somewhere with the end open sucking in unmetered air, so that will make it run poorly anyway.

There is no place on the sensor for a vaccum pipe just checked

it's the sensor plugged in to the bulkhead with a green plug

Yes thats the map sensor, and yes it has a vacuum pipe.

Your pipe goes on the tube that comes out of it like this..

just had another look and the nipple for the vaccum pipe is snapped off, trip to the scrappies a think
