I put in 2mm square iron in an X to brace it

Out if interest, why? is it a scene thing? Sorry to be off topic.

1 mm will be enough with a some bracing.

1 mm will be enough with a some bracing.a number of reason lol, one i cut out my floor, then changed me mind and half welded it back in and it looks abit of a mess, two much much lighter, if you look at the rest of my car you will realise weight is an issue to me. lastly it will allow me to run a proper size diffuser eventually

1mm ordered :d

700mm x 700mm iirc using 2mm plate it shouldn't need to be braced! but it depends what you doing with it.
