Fiesta Mk1 possibly going xe

Right as requested,

I've only had the car about three weeks now and the first week involved getting it through its mot which it did first time :)

The car was used for rallying so the spec reflects this

1.3 with xr2 filter and janspeed exhaust
xr2 callipers with drilled and grooved disks and braided lines
bilstien dampers
fuel tank guard, sum guard
omp 6 point rollcage
omp base mounted seat with sabelt harness
poly bushed front suspension and tie bar
supersport alloys

the shell has had quite a few reapirs in the past but has had a full respray about 18 months ago and has been fully undersealed. The car han't been on the road since 2002 so i'm not too sure if its been competing or just locked away. It sounds mint but its far too slow coming from a stripped out clio 172 so im in the middle of deciding what engine to plonk in it, at the moment an xe is a strong possibilty if we can get it to fit.

Love it, my mate used to have a MK1 with a race spec Crossflow, that was one of the most raw cars I've ever driven. That looks amazingly clean for the age of the car and the fact it is an old Ford lol

ZVH turbo IMO or CVH for a cheaper option, gota love the old fiesta my brother had one for his first car, he stuck rs turbo recaros In it they were too big and he struggled to get the gear lever into reverselol

and a mk1 passenger door too you missed that one lol. I actually quite like it with the mk2 boot plus we have no idea what the paint colour is so it could be a nightmare matching it up.

Still love Mk.1 Fiestas, I had a very serious one for tarmac rallies in the late 80's.

Only difference is the holes for the mirrors, so can be made to look mark 1 handy enough........
