View Full Version : Volt & Vacume Guages
What does a Vacume Guage do? Also, how is it and the Voltometer plumbed in?
volt meter just goes to + and - on the battery.
A vacuum gauge just measures 'load' on the engine. It will read most vacuum at Idle and then tail off to 0 at max throttle
So where does it plumb into, into the intake pipe or similar? I figured since I have them, I may stick them into something....

a feed from the TB or inlet manifold, maybe t it into a fuel reg pipe etc.
David.
they wont tell you anything of use... just because you have the gauges dosent mean you HAVE to use them lol
Sell em on :d
Ah I know that but at least if they're fitted they can be seen as an extra to some young kid mad to get a Well Tricked out motor y0. Anyway, what arfe they worth, maybe a tenner each? Not worth the hassle of advertising them!
not worth the hassle of fitting them either lol
it might add ohhhh nothing to the value of the car :p
Yeah but if it does add the "oooh" factor, surely that could make a sale? Anyway, cheers for the help.
