hendrix was very close, but a ****ing long time half the day perhaps, and sorry im not as fancy as you with my steam cleaning equipmentlol...

would it work with an iron if you kept pressing the hiss button haha lol

LMFAO use a wall paper stripper with the big sqaure head attachment removed ;) ;)

Some carb cleaner would've taken you no more than 10 mins to clean that up.

Agreed carb cleaner is crap for the job.

Remove the breather thing and you'll find lots more to clean underneath/inside that too :)

never wanted to remove that to be honest. and carb cleaner will take off the soft stuff. and i dont have a fancy wall paper stripper. i have brushes, solvents degreaser, and maybe a little caustic soda :D. does the job good. got to get myself a steam cleaner

I cleaned an 8v rocker cover with carb cleaner with ease. Quick and easy. And only used about 1/4 of a bottle. Rather spend £8 and get it done quickly.

believe me, carb cleaner wont get that off. done my previous cover with it, didnt work so well.

I buy carb cleaner from a pound shop, its a quid oddly enough.

You can get little steam cleaners really cheap from the likes of Tool station/screwfix.
