seen a std 2.0 8v take a 150 shot regularly. if its got the fuel to match and is set up properly 100 is fine on an xe.

Well ar kids on the UK Civic forum (used to have a Civic Turbo) an hes saying the general rule of thumb is 10bhp per cyclinder. 30bhp per cyclinder is classed as "lethal" but doable??

well go for it mate!! i dont know where your having it done but be wary wizrds off nos in doncaster arent the best!! when they fitted it to my mates golf they fitted it so it sprayed directly on to the throttle flap which after quite abit off use froze open lol there was no engine damage but some damage to some boxers lol

Wanna buy my Wizards setup/Maximiser Mike?

Is it a full kit, ready to install/test kinda thing? Maximiser as in pro controller?

Apprently Phil Sutton used to run 160bhp with no controller in his Corsa lol lol (LET engine BTW)

100 jets will be about 50 at the wheel maybe then? (at a conservative guess!)

its worth it imo, especially with something as fickle as nitrous, can go very wrong very quickly using the stuff

yes but if you melt that one for the sake of simply signing up to another forum then you've gotta shell out another £200-£300, it will soon get expensive dude

Hmm valid point. Still CBA to join tho lol as the answer will merely be, "fit a LET with a big turbo & then n2o on that" where as im literally after cheap thrills with an XE in a properly sorted chassis,.

Engine spec is pretty basic aswell!!! H rod, Omega pistons, headwork & TB's.

it runs two bottles, 4 solenoids and a lot more nitrious than mentioned above lol

They have just this week gone onto low comp pistons due to decking the old ones so much they kept melting lol

I wasn't 100% sure on what spec his engine is so didn't really comment on that, just know he uses alot of nitrous and remembered something about him running 300 brake at one point.

i just run a measly 25 shot of nitrous with my xe and even that makes a big difference!!

Jon_nova1
29-05-10, 08:05 AM
Just run 50BHP to start with, and see how the engine copes and get it tested to make sure it can cope, the only thing you'll need to buy if you want to upgrade are bigger jets
