Just a heads up. Whilst nosing round for insurance quotes to hassle Sky with (lol), I thought I'd try gocompare for a laugh. Only one company came back, "BrokerKing", with a rather low quote. This included a mod list as long as my... well, it was long, and included "non standard engine replacement".

They don't have an online presence, so you need to call them to complete the quote. When I rang, they denied all knowledge of the quotation coming through their system, so I reeled off the details - as soon as it came to the mods list, they pretty much gave up and couldn't wait to get me off the phone lol

So just bear in mind, every quote is not always what it seems. I'm mentioning this as cmax just came on MSN having an orgasm over a cheap quote he'd gotten from them, same situation as me.

BTW, Sky won again with a very reasonable price :thumb:

I had a similar problem with performance direct last year, they more than doubled their internet quote when i rang them lol

i just insured mine cheapest was £1013 in reality after a few calls it was £1659 TPFT :eek: i must be bonkers apparently the guy said insurance has gone up 15-20% as we hit the new year as quinn i beleive and a few other comapnies went bust with premiums they coulent afford

I wouldnt touch broker king with a bargepole, i was lured by some fairly unbelievably low price, i only had the policy about a week yet it took me about 6 months to get a refund when i cancelled it .

Definately a case of paying for cheap insurance getting you cheap(& nasty) insurance
