spi injector

ok iv fitted a 1.6 spi engine in nova from a mk3 astra.the injector is not working at all when i put fule in the carb it fires up so i know i have spark ect. any ideas why its not workin?

could be anything SPI the fuel is controlled by the ECU, is all the loom fitted for the SPI engine? or did you wire a carb look onto it hoping it'd work?:confused:

Doubt the inj is malfunctioning tbh. More than likely a wiring issue.
Easy to test another injector for testings sake.

Does the EML light come on with ign (& go out)??

iv fittet full loom on car all done nothing bodge. fule pump dont work on the red and blue wire but will if you but it to a live.unsure about the eml light iv not wired up .i was meesing around with the key coad and it started to work then stopt agen.
can i get an ecu thats not coaded or is there any way i can bypass it ?

Cant bypass imobliser no.

Could be water in the injector.

most people opt for taping the chip around the sensor

were do the wires go from the sensor i know red,black and brown. theres 2 blue and red 1 brown and red forgot the other
