insurance on "the ring"

my insurance (admiral multi car) will not cover me on the nuremburgering (sp) it actually states this on the policy document! is this a comon thing with others? can you get trackday insurance? other than this im very happy with my insurance and it cant be beaten for value either. i have done a quick search but not much comes up other than questions about the same thing.
oh and its my S3 and group 17.

some if not most of the companies or brokers i found only offer trackday insurance as part of the full years premium, that means id need 3 different policies, im just wanting one that will give me a couple of days cover but tbh its a very high risk for companies to take on i'd imagine.

iirc its all because any accidents at the ring and you have to pay for repairs to the armco/tarmac etc

^yes, Guy from corsasport crashed his mazda, just bent about 2meters of the armco and cost him about 3k!

Try searching for a special trackday cover company. Maybe ask the likes of Sky if they will cover track use?

my highway policy a few years back didnt exclude it...

I do believe that when a UK company says the dont cover use there, they dont cover YOUR losses, but will cover track/other peoples.... DO NOT quote me on that though, you would have to call them.
Thats the minimum cover you need anyway otherwise the police there can ream you HARD

There are insurance companys that will give you a days insurance for track. Try the likes of david auden insurance. We have rally car insurance with him and if anything he will point you in the right direction if he can't help you himself.
