Respraying my mk3 Astra cab within the month and still haven't picked a colour, so saw I this Carmile red in practical classiscs and thought maybe, but I'm thinking maybeits a bit too Girly???

Looks a little like Damson as found on S14a's

Both are kind of 'girly' shades but the TR6 and SX are manly looking motors so they pull it off. A mk3 Astra cab won't have that edge (to look mean) IMO.
Still would probably suit it though. Depends what kind of look you are after and what has been done to the rest of it.

Top colour looks fine imo mate. It's on a manly 2 seater classic sports car so it's gotta be a manly colour.

The colour in the bottom pic is going towards girly though.

Mk3 astra cab? I'd go bordoux red, tis a vauhall colour and looks good on them.

IMO its abot too much of a flat finish. I'd go for the damson as on the 200 SX.

Has to be cellulose as my Dad's painting it himself in his Garage, and you can't get Metallic in cellulose so has to be an older/flat colour

Clair, Yeah I'm Krow off mk3oc, just think this is a good site, more light-hearted than mk3oc,

i know what you mean about the light hearted thing, theres no where near the banter on mk3 that there is on here!

i want your front bumper lol will look good when its sorted, good man :thumb:
