taking burgo's advice

what size tap is it i need..?
if anyone knows the size etc so i can just go on ebay and buy one :thumb:
been told iv got to get it done by burgo asap lol

I have no idea on anything like that or what they cost, I borrowed the one to do mine off an engineer mate of mine.

that is ridiculously cheap for a drill and tap, but should be ok for a one-off use :thumb:

yup £2.45 posted
just paid for it thought fook it needs doing and its cheap so why not
will just have to take care when drilling and tapping the box
so if anyone that has done it there selves has any hints tips please let me know :thumb:

its not the best of materials to tap isnt aluminium. when tapping keep winding it back out and clearing the cuttings from the bottom of the hole otherwise it will bind up. hope this helps

yer il have me old man with me as he will know what he's doing better then me
but yer i know to clear the swarf (sp) out while tapping

That will be fine if your into putting threads into blocks of cheese or mars bars (lol)
Seriously,you get what you pay for.Do it once do it right,buy a good one from your local fixings shop,use plenty of wd40 and also buy a tap wrench.
