Hello All
I bought this Astra Rally car in February to use as a forest car, I've since changed my mind, I've removed the engine and box to keep for spares but everything else is intact.
I am just going to post the ebay link, if this is not allowed please let me know and i'll remove it immediatly.
Link Removed
I will post the full details and price tonight.

I have for sale this Mk2 Astra Rolling shell, this car was used very successfully by Matt Edwards, with many class wins. It is RAC log booked and is currently on Sorn.
It was fitted with a 1400 8V motor and comes only needing an engine and gearbox to get out on the stages.
I have loads more pictures if you need them s simply send me you e-mail address.
Shell:
3-door Mk2 Astra shell fitted with a Madder bolt in cage triangulated to the strut tops, also the entire shell has been seem welded making it extremely strong. Underneath is a sizable alloy sumpguard, and steel tank guard there is also extensive under body protection. A full set of polycarbonate windows with sliders are also fitted. Holes for sill stands. Externally the shell is a little tatty and could do with a little TLC.
Suspension:
Front struts are Bilstein inserts in standard casings with the threaded coil over tube welded on. The spring rates are unknown. Rear is Astra 16V dampers with gravel springs. All bushes are replaced with Polybushes.
Brakes/wheels:
Front is Astra 16V with Ferrodo pads. Rear is standard drums with cable handbrake. The wheels are 14” Vauxhall alloys with Hankook track day tyres (just to make it a rolling shell!)
Interior:
Two OMP RS seats and Sabelt five point harnesses (in date to end 2010). Autolec. Plumbed in zero 2000 extinguisher (no hand held). Omex rev limiter. OMP steering wheel. Roof mounted air vent. Helmet net, large Sunpro rev counter, navigators footrest. Internal braided fuel line. Jack and mount for nut gun. Plus much more, only thing missing is an intercom.
Spares:
Comes with some spares, radiator, distributors, 8x drive shafts, and bottom ball joints.
This would make a great starter car; it may not be ultimate spec but has a proven track record in the right hands.
It goes without saying you will need a trailer to take it away.
This is a good honest car.
