Keep std? or rep?

Ive got a mk2 that is completely standerd at the moment, shall i keep it that way or should i do a rep?

I would keep it looking reasonably standard with a few added touches. I'm not generally a fan of making car's look like something they aren't.

I'm with Muzzy - Not really into the 'Nova GSi' that started out as a 1.2 Merit thing!

Yeah i know, well i got some surrounds yesturday of Colin, and lookin at some GTE bumpers (just because i like them) so i dont know if to go the full length of getting gte/gsi parts etc or just to leave it at that

do what you like mate there will always be haters build a car that makes you happy not others, i still get ribed for going mk2 but i like it and its my car at the end of the day. if you listen to other opinions you will never be happy with your car

i had a mk2 k reg gsi rep and it looked pretty good, bumpers, skirts, window surrounds, full interior including dash so mine worked as it had everything bar engine and thicker tie bars etc

so im with rep

My comment was in reference to GTE bumpers on a mk2. IMO they look odd. But as said, its your car.

Thats what im aiming for eventually with mine, ive got the SR decals and thanks to Rich i have a set of 'vauxhall' 'nova' and '1.4' badges in pretty good shiny nick to go back on the boot once painted too:thumb:
