searching for Nova Sport : C464 HKX

As the title says searching for my old Nova Sport, that I had in my teens, Owned it round about 1996/97, bought it from a motorsport dealer called Jason Lepley in mansfield, who used to advertise in motoring news/autotrader.

Worked nightshift on a building site in my home town of Coventry all summer to afford the money to buy it, was standard Sport spec apart from koni suspension,ashley rally exhaust/4-2-1 manifold .

Would be great to find out if it was still alive owned by an enthusiast and in good order or if it had been fully restored etc. Was probably the most fun car I have had and I have had some crackers.

Wasnt there a nova sport register/picture gallery on this site at one time?

cheers for the link John H !!!!!!!!! Yes that is the car!!!!!! I remember the Irmscher badge badge on the dash, steering wheel and red rocker cover.

I think you must have sold it to my mate Phil in Derby about ten years ago when we all had Sports. His mate Craig drove it back because her majesty was looking after his licence for a short while at the time. He started a resto but lost interest and sold it to Royston when he moved out.

Cheers Novasport I do remember some young derbyshire lads coming to buy it, think I also remember the car you came over to Coventry in had twin forties on aswell. Was a sad sight and sound seeing it drive away regretted it since, hence the search 14 years later! LOL

Would have thought it was Craig, Jim & Phil that came over to get it. Craig drove it back as far as I know so they must have gone in Jims car which was a Sport but unstickered. Craig comes on here, so he could tell you. His user name is Rallycraig.

Thanks to everyone much appreciated, good to know its still around weird how this car has stuck in my memory, was just a great handling,awesome sounding fast fun car?

Think the the max power advert that says she could do6.5 seconds to 60mph, was a bit ambitous but she really did fly, must have had some engine mods diiferent cam/valves/ported head?
