That happened on the Sport when I took it out for a test drive before buying it. Heard a loud noise like the exhaust blowing but then it stopped, then heard it again and I thought the gearbox was chewing itself up and it stopped again. Opened the bonnet, nothing then it started again and scared the shoite out of me. Dodgy aftermarket leads were so long they dropped into the fan, luckily they werent damaged too much!
