elusive exhaust leak

My nova has a small leak which can only be heard under load, I can't trace it at all, the front pipe looked older and the middle and end pipe look almost new, I fitted a new front pipe with gasket ring and tightened the brackets on the middle and rear bits. The leak is exactly the same! Should I use gungum/join sealant on all the joins?

What about the manifold gasket?

You tryed getting someone to cover the end of the exhaust with a rag etc make the pressure higher while you look for a leak ?

Thanks for the advice, found the leak, it is where the front pipe meets the manifold. It is exactly the same with the new and old front pipe, I have put the new mesh gasket in and assume that it will shape to seal the leak with running? If not will oaste help here?
