wiring loom earths

anyone know of where all the earths are for a mk2 carbed loom got loads of faults that are pointing towards earths just want to check ive got them all there. any help appreciated

Right:

A flexible metal braid, from gearbox, to chassis leg.

A Brown coloured car, loom earth onto same bolt.

Coil is earthed to chassis leg.

Does Haynes wiring diagram tell you?

From what I can remember, check behind the centre cold vents behind the dash, behind the kick plates either side of the footwells, and in the boot near the pin.

erm.....

one behind dash guages one around heaters one in the boot i think it screws in the middle near the latch or in the bootlid with the wiper motor

the one around the centre cold vent only earths the radio

cheers peeps should there be one around the steering column some where or is that just for horn

yes behind the dash guages, well its actually screwed into bottom/side of a bracket for the steering column

its mainly light faults ive got like the buzzer goin off when lights are turned off n stops when i turn them on

then it would probably be the one on the steering column or on the inner wing.
