little question here. looking to get a new car. i want to go and see about a new car, but the finance company im with are not taking new policy' or files untill later in the year (there re-branding) whaer do i stand with getting a new car? can i get new finance to pay off my current one and for the new car?

Go speak to a dealer they will be able to help and if they cant then theyre arent worth dealing with!

how would it work? if i have a car on finance, and want to get a car thats getting sold private?

Then you need to sell your car and use the funds to clear the finance on it any money left from the sale after clearing the finance is yours. If you are buying private you need to set up personal funding. Probably a bank loan or similar
