Flux are pretty good. My Mrs is 22 and she has just had a insurance quote on her nova with 1.6 c16xe declaired and all mods and they quoted £515 fully comp. The woman said does this sound ok. Told the mrs to rip her hand off.

Pretty sure Sky don't do agreed values? Unless you are an existing customer that is?

when they asked value i told them 3500 to replace and when he read it back he said it was insured for £3500 for accident and theft etc so presumed we had agreed it ? lol

You can put any value you want on a car for the policy but you will only get market value for the car in the event of a claim. Proper agreed value involves sending pictures and getting written confirmation agreeing the value.

I had a bad experience with Flux and vowed never to go back. Got talked into going back by a guy there that assured me they had changed. But guess what, they cocked up again majorly. That was mainly over agreed value amongst other things. Will NEVER EVER go back to them no matter how cheap they are!

Flux are cheap, but when something bad happens they wont try and help you atall. Wouldnt recommend unless you can cope with getting seriously ****ed off and want to pay to not have the cover your meant to get.

I have little choice in who I can use to insure the Nova as only Flux and HIC offer agreed values and most companies don't insure my postcode. Brentacre gave me the best quote but said in the event of a claim I'd struggle to get more than £4.5k.

HIC quoted me 3 times the amount I pay with Flux, was over £1500
