was bleeding the brakes on the nova the other day
tried just doing the fronts as the pads had been changed before i got it and the peddle was like a sponge
so gave the fronts ago and didnt make any difference
but they were chucking out loads of air and leaking air slightly when the nipple was closed
i cant get the rear ones off as the nipples are just fooked :(
anyone got any useful tips to getting the nipples undone..?
was thinking about stuffing one of my easy outs in the hole in the nipple to get it undone

get some smaller grips on them, try hammering a smaller socket onto it also

WD40 and a brake pipe spanner FTW. FFS dont bodge when it comes to brakes.

your sh*t lol

so you tried to bleed them? but they still have air in the system? so they arn't bled properly, it also sounds like the nipple isn't tightened properly what did you use to tighten it?

you don't need a brake pipe spanner on the nipple, just a closed spanner

as im going for 288mm on the front and discs on the rear
its not going anywere quick so not to bothered

renew the small brake pipe and fit new cylinders. If you can fit a z20leh into a Nova then you shouldn't have to ask such a simple question!!
