View Full Version : XE & LET differences
What exactly are they? How would I go about converting an XE to LET?
Have you searched bud, sure this has been asked before.
Altho thinking about it, XE and LET are too short for search lol
Pistons, oil feed/oil return, all that i can mind, somebody else will be able to confirm.
I've been contacted by a guy with 4 dead LETs so I want to know what it would take to make one.

The pistons are obviously pocketed for compression purposes, the crank, is it different as well?

Dod, all you need to do is fit LET pistons, drill the oil return out and change the cams. Change the head gasket also.
Then just fit accross the loom, sensors, turbo etc from the dead LET's.
Happy days. Expect a request for help in the not so distant future Keith.
