Im looking into up grading my graphics card. Got 2x 8800 GTX's atm, but want to get a ATI HD.

I am unsure of what the card codes mean and what a decent one is.

Im intrested in something thats similar spec to a NVidia 9800 but in ATI form as theyre better gaming cards imo.

got a £150 limit, but i can be flexible for the right card.

Help is appreciated

The earlier the digit in the model number, the more important it is.

Something like this? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1GB-XFX-HD-5770-PCI-E-21-4800MHz-GDDR5-GPU-850MHz-800-Cores-DP-DVI-HDMI

An Nvidia 9800 is about the same as what you have now.

I have a single HD 5770.

I bought it about 3 months ago after my 8800 GTX cooked itself from the new drivers.

Seems to be a pretty decent card and runs lots cooler. Plays Bad Company 2 and Team Fortress 2 well. Can't fault it tbh.
