i got standar mk2 interior 1.2i and wanna colour code it whats the best stuff to use the spray etc i know u can get them sticky sheets is theer one u can heat on?

depends on wot yer "colour coding"

Plastic trim just make sure all parts are lightly sanded, degreased (people clean cars with silicone based stuff that repels paint!)

Light coat of plastc primer. Let dry for 24 hours (if you can leave in an oven on v low heat for 2 hours to bake paint on)

Then smooth gently and spray with top coat.

Bake that on in same way and if you have ans imperfections smooth it and polish.

Use 1200 wet n dry to smooth

If painting the vynal of the dash (mk2) then you need dye really coz its flexible and paint dont stick to it.

Personally I wouldnt colour cod interior - unless you colour code it to match colour of dash or youre planning on painting the entine dash the same as yer car.

I have a Mk1 and the dash is light Brown. Could i sand the grain out of it so it is smooth and paint it?
