No i've never trusted the 120mph+ dial either.
Fuel gauges are never 100% accurate imo
Nah, I think the temp can still get a bit higher before you worry..lol

Looks like the instrument voltage regulator might be faulty if both the temp and fuel guages are giving anomalies.
(incidentally if you have the ignition on there, why are the battery light and oil pres light not illuminated..... is there a loose earth strap in the engine compartment?)

The temp guage in my first SRi done this. After a whack, it would ping back to the correct place.
My dash is wrong in every single way. Fuel gauge does what it wants, temperature gauge sometimes makes an effort to work and the speedo is probably about 40mph out too. Rev counter seems to work though...

It puts the fear into passengers and helps them to hand over their fare as they worry you're empty when you've actually got half a tank

turn right and it goes down :( turn left and god replaces what you lost turning right :d
Its a clear indication your dash has cancer.
I had some "temperature issues" now I think they're sorted... I baxtered it(without using a grinder). But still the gauge now goes nuts
