Gear Linkage

My gear linkage has become really loose somehow.....when i am in gear the gear stick still moves alot side to side and up and down....how can i fix this?

my new 5 speed gear goes this.

My 4 spped stick was really solid

The new one feels like its a flacid!

Not sure how you fix it - cxould be worn parts - but then again - mine are new.
