wide wheels on a nova

ive just bought some wheel offset 40 by 8 inch wide could they fit my nova it fittted with offset 40 by 7inch wide with out rubbin and no springs atm lol

it s a 3 door hatch but the arches have had loads of work i was wondering if anyone could work it out by the size

I doubt an 8inch wheel would fit between the arch and the shock absorber, and thats provided you get the offset perfect to make it sit directly between the two, which i don't think et40 is.

My opinion is that will look gay as feck, and youll end up with the same tyre footprint as you have now.

8J is a definite no-no imo - my 7J wheels scrub with just the shopping in the boot!

8j wheels on my nova :P the tyres are 205 45 16 and rubbing slightly lol

Me likes the first set of wheels you had, regardsless of width. They suit the Nova and are a tad different to waht you normally see :thumb:

Those 5 spokes would be nice'ish without the nasty multi PCD holes..

17 inch lenso concept 5's 205/40 zr17 dropped 80mm at the back.

that was 1.5 years ago. never rubbed....
