spotted one parked up in a back garden near me and am going to go ask if i can view it. What areas do i really need to check for rust?? I'm guessing they rust badly like most 80s Vauxhalls

There one up for sale
£550 needs welding on the arches,sills and rear spring mounts because apparently thats what the MoT failed on.

short answer: everywhere.

long answer: front valance, wings, inner arches, sills, chassis legs, floors, rear seat wells, rear arches, rear chassis legs, susp mounts, seatbelt points, rear valance, doors, battery tray, bulkhead, scuttle, slam panel, boot floor, roof gutters, a+b+c posts. boot lid lip, bonnet front edge, nosecone.

As above. plus if its been on grass in a back garden for ages you might aswell buy a bag of rust instead.

nope. they rust like 70's vauxhalls. its a totally new ball game....lol

check under the bonnet under the windscreen washer bottle. rot there first.

mines a 26k miler and it had rot there, a small patch of bubbling in the boot floor. and the driver inner wing, because its full of dirt!
