Thought I'd add this here, explain it and hopefully this'll get stickied in the relevant forums.

The link below calculates what you'll pay in PayPal fees depending on value of the item/s. Then it'll tell you how much you need to add to your payment. You can then send money in confidence as payment for goods and not as a gift (giving you some protection if things go wrong) while the other person won't get jacked for fees.

I've used it a good few times now and have had no problems with it.

Cash on collection/cash recorded/bank transfer etc.

PayPal sometimes get on my nerves too but sometimes when the above isn't possible PayPal is the only other option.

And I'm tired of reading 'send as gift so I don't blah blah etc'.

At least now you can calculate it much easier and get protection when you buy stuff off people.

True. IMO though thats like drinking acid as there's no water. Sometimes I'd rather go without. lol
