Proper welded up. lol
ok i asked a really stupid question
thats bad, because surly the wheels would get no drive?
on another note. what bit do you weld up?
If you look at it, you can see where the drives go and where the prop goes and basicially how it works. To weld a diff in the traditional sense you need to weld the inner cogs in the internal frame in the first pic so both drive shafts turn at the same speed and not just the one as per regular diffs.
yeh, i did have a few minutes thinking lol, and kinda worked it out, as the input shaft (where your one has been welded) still needs to move.
lmfao, where did you get that pic, and please tell me theres a thread to go with it??
Its from a US 4x4 Forum. It was posted in the mechanics section, the guy couldnt figure out why his jeep wouldn't move. lol
4x4 forum, repost and a hoax... you cant actually fit the diff back to the original vehicle with it welded up like that... sorry folks lol
Of coarse you can, why wouldn't you be able to?
Awesome!
I was expecting the usual pigoen sh!t gasless job. lol

No idea, something to do with the way it fits back together, read the whole thread, someone points it out and the guy owns up to it being a hoax/joke.
Like the sand in the airbox thing?
Still, nothing beats the recirculating turbo. That was probably the funniest thead ive ever read, and cant find it for love nor money.

recirc turbo?
I like the Recirculating Exhaust that was doing the rounds.
recirc turbo?
Yeah, a guy on a forum (cant remember which) thought he'd invented a new way of powering a turbo engine. Basically he suggested the exhaust outlet from the turbo could also be plumbed back into the inlet creating 'double boost'. He drew a picture and everything.
What made the thread was the general pin sharp wit of the resulting pee taking lol

no no noooo, it was an american muscle car forum camero i think, he basically drew a picture in paint of the exhaust manifold attached to the inlet manifold claiming he'd invented a new form of forced induction.
or was that a different one? lol
I've never seen that one :(
Just the singh grooves guy, p&p Audi head with sand, NOS in bike tank and engine flush with a hose pipe! :) Think that was a Mustang too. lol
