That is one hell of a tune! What a voice!! Not heard that for aaaages!
I used to spin the dance mix when i was on the club scene about 6 years ago i got hold of it on a white label. Great remix in my opinion. Nice bass line and simple but original sample!

Its not ****, you're old and therefore listen to the stuff you were brought up on I.E The Ratpack and such alike.

well, hippies created all the prog-rock, hendrix, clapton, status quo.......
then came heavy metal, which split into grunge, metal, and that shyte you like...... all music is derivative.... and that stuff is basically the muzac they pump on Xtreme sports channels, which is some lanky tw@ts falling off skateboards, bmx's, surfboards, or snowboards, & then those blokes who aren't actually good enough to race crossers, so they do the silly jumps & hang off the back of them........ and it is mostly attempting to be better than rage against the machine & failing.......

and the younger generation hates it when they find out that their new biggest thing is actually some rehashed old crap that their parents listened to.

Lol I know my music and know where it all comes from :thumb: I listen to a wide variety of music, I'm just not keen on chart music, also, Rage Against The Machine are crap!

mowgli

i know rage against the machine are crap, and they were in the early nineties too!!!!!!!!! and they are still better than that stuff you want to play as your sunny day music......
and i wasn't impressed at green day at the lg arena, but when i saw alice cooper, i was.... its nothing to do with age, it simply was a much better show

Heres one that always makes me think of hot sunny summers days when i was younger, any old skool mountain bikers who had the video 'Dirt' will remember this one, it was on there as they set off racing down a dirt road in the middle of what looked like the moors (up near whitby somewhere actually) used to watch that vid most days before going out biking so its a true summer tune to me :d

Whoa, Spudly, memories!!!

I'm sure I still have that on VHS somewhere! I think its back at the parents gaff! Unfortunately I can't listen to any of the youtube links as I'm at work and I have no speakers but be expecting some plus rep when I get home.

Also reminds me of some BMX video called Dig, with TJ Lavin and Fuzzy Hall. The sound track to that was amazing. Lots of Mad Caddies, speaking of which needs burning to CD to blast out in the car.

Today I've been mostly listening to Chemical Brothers, tommorow will be NWA/Dr Dre and the day after will be Mad Caddies :)

Haha i knew that would be a blast down memory trail (see what i did therelol)

Some awesome tunes on the dirt vid, i recently got it copied onto dvd by a helpful dude on retrobike, still got the vhs though and it still plays too:thumb:

Mate at work was on about that bmx vid this morning funnily enough, he said the intro is on youtube somewhere too!
