Have any of you ever stripped down a coilover to try repair it , my seals have gone again on my avo rear coilovers , they haven't even done 7k since they were last done ;(

So I'm thinking of stripping if down and replacing the o rings myself , is it possible ?

I wouldnt tbh - Avo only charge £17 + VAT dont they?

If they havent long done them, it will probably be free tbh

Lol thy cost me £252 to have all 4 rebuilt las time , just thinking of someone in work to look at them since we are a hydrolic valve company lol

I'll give avo a bell though but it's been about 3-4 years since they were done but as said they have only done about 7k in that time

have a go yourself, and if they still are fooked then rebuild them and send them back lol

failing that, you can get new rears from gaz for not a huge quantity of cash from the members deal :)

Rang them today and they said the rears start from £35 plus £10 postage back and also what ever it cost me to send it to them and of they are ****ed proper then it's £50 for a new unit

I'll strip them down in work tomorrow and see what they need haha
