20Xe Sump

Had a fail.A corner of it has broken off,probably done when i bought it.:roll:
Question is,will a 2l 8valve sump be ok to use? or an x20xe ecotec??

I've know people use the steel 8v sump on an xe

well ive just spoke to a mate of mine and he said he's used an 8v one before aswell????
I know it will physically fit as the gaskets for the 8v are used on Xe's but was just wondering if it would be alright in regards to the oil pick up etc

Mine ran an 8v sump, but it had it on there when i bought it so couldn't tell you if it needs an 8v pickup as well.

been offered an ecotec sump,anyone know if these fit?
I really dont want to buy a sump then find i need to buy another or a different pick up.
