and how low is that exactly

should also say the gte shell is sitting on the floor
Notched chassis? Or is it not that bad? Will look awesome go like that.
Quick, hide the pics of the 90s 3spoke unless Lewi comes in here and starts having an orgasm lol
Notched chassis? Or is it not that bad? Will look awesome go like that. thats literally a wheel lobbed under a bare shell so no notched chassis or owt lol
dont think i would ever run that low, hmmm or would i, we shall see :p

To me it doesnt look overly low on the 45's, but with that 3 spoke it does. Is the offset of the 3 spoke making the tyres sit closer to the arch, making there less space?
I like those 3 spokes btw. Put them on!
3 spoke is the shell rested on tyres I think, he's saying it was basically a few mm away from the tyres rubbing the chassis constantly, which is indeed low.

Yeah I wouldnt disagree about it being low. I love seeing a slammed car being built with the wings off. Is this being built or unbuilt Burgo?
ok i may have confused you all lol. the first picture is of how i had my saloon sitting which according to some wasnt that low :wtf:. so being as there is a bare shell sitting on the floor in the garage i thought i would do an experiment. the three spoke is just placed in the wheel arch lol no suspension or anything, its actually wedged in there, so i then placed a saloon wing on to see how the wheel sat in relation to the arch. having done this ive found my saloon was only and inch and half higher than this shell sitting on the floor.

Mines been up for ages practically given away if you think about what was included but no one wants it so it looks destined for scrap, probably going to cut bits out of it to repair my TD/mk1 with.

Yep, at one point it had big block hubs on it too, but saw count vaux was after some so gave them to him as a thankyou/sorry for bombarding him with turbo questions when I was reading up on it lol
Harnesses are gone now too as someone wanted them recently and I needed the cash, plus shell needs to go before June really as it's been sat for near 9 months and I said I'd get rid of it asap to the parents so they're a bit sick of driving round it to get on the drive, so I cut them out for him there and then.
typical, i bet you sold them proper cheap aswell
Yeah, got a couple of shock bills in just recently so stuff has been going for tempting prices, snowplough in savable condition went for £65, harnesses for £30, selling bits I don't really want to to etc atm, bad times ahead :(
:( I apologise for derailing your thread also. lol
