i have a 1.2 8v and currently fitted a stainless steel exhaust system including a four branch manifold, now when im driving around if i let off the throttle it pops quite excessively, doesnt do it when its cold only when it warms up.
Never done this with the standard exhaust so obviously its my new exhaust but what exactley is making it pop? :/ would appreciate some help as it can be very annoying

lack of back pressure ?take your meds baxter lol

its clearly just unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust, it does do it with the standard exhaust but because of how silenced it is you cant hear it. its nothing to worry about and nothin you can do about it

If its doing it excessively, you could have a small air-leak in the system - As said above, they do "pop"...

Yup standard non optional extra with a "performance exhaust system". As said above it's the unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust system, only when the exhaust temps are up hence why it doesn't happen when the car is cold.

lol most people love this factor, because its childish and makes it sounds cool on the over run. it will only do it excessivly if its a carb or mechanical injection jsut because its omnom's the fuel and shove it in your exhaust and goes pooooof under the heat

as said nothing wrong with it, my sr pops constantly one the overrun. worse now that i've gone from a 4 branch back to standard manifold and downpipe.

theres the good old trick of trying to blow your exhaust off by turning your ignition off for a few seconds lmfao

Try Using a tank full of V-power fuel. see if it does it then.

Awsome way to clear the baffles out of your fairly quiet magnex systemlol :d
