C1.4SE wont run...help... pretty please

I cant get this engine to run and its now really doin my head in now :(

between my mate and i using autodata we have checked every sensors all the pin outs from the ecu and found no errors at all. ECU reports no errors just code 12 flashes

the plugs have a spark, fuel pressure is spot on and the injectors are getting pulses (checked with LED) all the earths are checked and checked again

TPS and idle stepper motor are ok too

we have found only 2 things that are not as they should be??

1. each injector meters at 12.6 ohms and autodata says they should be 15 to 16.5 ohms, so they are a bit low

2. Coil pin 1 metred to the HT should be between 5000 - 6000 ohms and it reads 6800 ohms this is too high?

are the above enough to stop the engine starting?

BTW yes it does have petrol ;)

i am suspecting i might have the wrong coil for the engine??? it came out of a 1.4 single point if i remember correctly

does anyone know what coil i need for the multipoint engine? WR is in the back of my mind?

the loom i am using is for the older coil type not coilpack

your use normal coil just i thort all c14se ran on coil pack. as they were the corsa and nova sri engine that ran on coil pack

does anyone have a c14se engine and a metre to give me the ohms readings from each injector and pin 1 to HT on the coil?

also can someone confirm if the WR coil is the right one for this engine?

David.dave was the dizzy one not e14se or some think and the coilpack c14se

you say the timing is ok but are u sure? the reason i ask is someone during the week was certain he had the timing correct but didnt

ANYWAY IT LIVES :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Went to the scrappy and got a WR coil, the engine was more on the point of starting than ever before but still not running......

i then adjusted the fuel reg (has a gauge) to 5.5 bar (twice what it should be) and after a bit of trying IT STARTED and ran on tickover for 15 minutes til i turned it off

so i think the injectors are either knacked or dirty. i tend to think knacked as i have a spare set and the car did'nt start with them either
