aaahhh why wont it run right

hi guys right

i have a 1.2 8v i nova

it starts and runs some times for 30 mins some times for 10 the misses then cuts out :mad: some times restarts easy other you have to put your foot on the thottle a little.

i have replace

idle control valve, and cleaned it all out etc
little box on the bulk head with the pipe going to the carb
throttle pershion senser
crack shaft senser
fuel pump relay (pump still runs as engine dies)
injector
coil
bit under coil

still no change :roll:
it dose have a silly air filter on it and thats really all

any one have any idea's????

Have you checked plugs, rotor arm, leads, dissy cap.......

Lambda sensor? Blocked cat if its spi?

when you say "bit under coil" do you mean the ignition module? if not may be worth a go gives the same symptoms as your giving when they pack up. it wont pack up untill they get hot but when left to cool it will run again till hot again.

thanks guys yem it was the ignition module i changed

changed the dizy over today as well from my corsa still no difrence

so the swapped ecu's and she is now running sweet 2nd vauxhall i have had were its been ecu fooked next time i am trying that 1st lol

as for the 2L 8v engine swap the cav i have bought for that got stolen lat night ,but the theef is putting fuel in it and driving it with more care then i do so i'll let the girl friend keep it for a bit :roll:
