Bascilly thinking of getting a nova and tuning 1.2. Plans currently are Fancy cam and veriner pully, 4 branch manifold, Maybe steel rods and pistons and rebore.

Want to no what is best head to put on it and best inlet and throttle body, By best i mean best flowing.

Cheers

seriously how much is that lot gonna cost? its gonna be custom rods and pistons for a start so your already well over a grand without even trying. why waste that much money on a **** engine

if its a 12ST the best mod you can do is rehone the block and fit the crank and rods from a 1.3. Brings it up to 1395cc with plenty of torque. Match up your ports and manifolds and fit a Weber 32/34 carb. Job done!!

And after youve told your insurance company about the mods you will be paying a lot more on that than you would to insure a 1400 SR!

best idea? 1.2, 256mm ate's coilovers set properly, polybushes, arb's front and rear, buckets harnesses and strut braces. 15's with decent tires. then tune stuff.

seriously, get a 1.3 & then start playing... you will be 20 hp ahead straight away

Best thing to do with a standard 1.2 for power as far as I can tell is squirt it, they're worth 20 pence so fit some Nitrous and see what happens. Then fit said nitrous kit to any future engines when the little 1.2 goes bang.

Otherwise a 4 branch, Lairy cam and some 40s/Bike carbs will make it more "fun" but you wont get much out of it.
