Massive massive thanks to ........

Stuart
wwmnw
Gareth C

As some of you knew i was after either a new engine or some bits for my engine in the wide arch thing as the standard xe is just not man enough. Not being an ebay person i dont really look but Stuart came across some bits of great interest. After some messing around he sorted a deal and got the ball rolling for me and did all of the contacting.

Cue next problem, paypal is gay, guy asks for direct bank transfer of whole amount due to his playing up :tard: Obviously this is a nono, so following that i made a cheeky phonecall to wwmnw as he seemed close to the area of items. What a Star!!!! after some banter he made contact with the guy and arranged to pic my bits up.

So, good old Gareth picks up wwmnw and takes him over. Obviously whilst there Gareth gave the items a quick look over to make sure everything was near enough as he some expereince of them already which was awesome :thumb:

I suppose its just a good example to show what the whole club thing is about, oldskool still watching backs of others, randomly ringing members i have never rang before (yeh ok, i know i tend to do that anyway lol), having a banter and asking huge favours etc. and receiving all the help anyone could ask for

It makes me proud that the club still maintains the quality and helpfulness of the members, and that it is still as strong now as it ever was in years gone by.

Cheers

well done lads.

it makes me think of all the help riggy got last year when he was stuck in billing.

also when mel picked me and bruce up on the m6 services when my cv broke coming down to the milton keynes meet about 5 years ago.

the club does do itself proud when members need a hand.

i cant remember who it was, maybe browney, he bought something of me. and i was out, so i said just go around the back and pick them up,

many other car parts sitting there, and he only took the wheels. i only gave him the trust because he is a pnger.

and also he has paid me for the roof rack, but hasnt collected it yet, because he knows im not gonna fook him about.

i do love this kinda of club family

Top stuff...
Makes a change from people just taking the p1ss when you need help and getting told to stop being lazy and do it themselves lol.
