As above as its been a little stuttery today an the airflow meters a bit s***ted up so thinking thats probs not helping matters.

And how do you get the mesh off them?

Its surprising how sh*t pattern parts can be however. I put all new cap, rotor-arm, leads & plugs on my Golf. It then developed a misfire FFS!! Turns out the chinese (halfords) rotor was crap & the old (turned out to be bosch) used rotor-arm went back on & fixed the misfire.

Btw. The AFM cleans itself everytime the ECU powers down iirc. (hot wire)

The rotor arm i fitted was a GM one craig i perfer genuine parts over cheap s**t like you say its suprising how s**t they can be.

Thats handy to know about the airflow meter though thanks.
