What was it then?
apparently it was his wiring....
The wiring he was so confident in he used bullet connectors? no way lol
just to clarify, im being nice not ripping the pi$$. i know how annoying it is to not have a running car.

well as sloth said its running
it wasnt exactly my wiring
the wire that nobby used for the ignition wire kept dropping the 12v feed when it was cranking so i run a live from the battery to the coil and it fired straight up
then it was hunting like it was fuel starved so got £9 of fuel in it and still had the problemso lowered the front end of the car down and now its running sweet :thumb:

wtf? What fuel pump are you using??
napalm_27
13-05-10, 07:48 PM
2.0 external one
it wasnt picking up the fuel until i put the front end down abit
lets hope the engines not cursed and it the car lasts longer than 4miles lol
napalm_27
13-05-10, 07:49 PM
im going to take it on a closed road thats 5 miles long :thumb: no worries about getting silly blonde bimbo's pull out infront of me lol
who are you and where the hell did you come from?
LMFAO
wtf? What fuel pump are you using??
Just what i was thinking lol lol
Thats dodgy as fook, especially on a turbo'd motor, a dodgy fuel supply is definently not what you want lol
What tank are you using? And where is the pump?
let_nova
13-05-10, 08:18 PM
LMFAO
 was that sarcasm? am i meant to know? is it sloth with a name change? i dont know, tell melol
napalm_27
13-05-10, 08:19 PM

oh no... sorry
nope, still dont know.
fueling ok etc
does pop and bang abit when letting off the throttle
I was under the impression pops and bangs are unburnt fuel getting into the exhaust. So its possibly not fueling ok lol

So will it have fuel supply issues when going uphill? Once again, what tank??
How long til this melts?
About 1mile if it gets starved on fuel on boost
napalm_27
13-05-10, 08:39 PM
not sure what tank is on it could be a sr tank could be a gsi/gte tank
Where does the fuel pipe to the pipe join the tank???
Danny s-p
13-05-10, 09:33 PM
fail by me lol
ste porter
14-05-10, 01:14 AM
it wont melt aslong as he never turns right and starves the pump of fuel lol
and it pops and bangs when he lets of because the engine rocks on the mounts and wigles all the choclate blocks that all the wirings done with and kills the spark lol
if its the gsi/gte it is supposed to be then the fuel take off is in the back of the tank so having the front end in the air shoulda helped. im curious if now its running are you now going to take it apart and build it properly? thats what you said you were going to do
napalm_27
14-05-10, 01:57 AM
yer its got to come back out as im fitting the f28 and got some welding to do on it aswell
just going to tidy up the wiring and put everything back in for now untill i get a welder and the parts i need to fit the f28
then im going to solder the wiring etc once its all finished off :thumb:
take lots of pics mate. ;) helps rebuilding it.
napalm_27
14-05-10, 02:07 AM
wont take me long to do it mate
but yer will take lots of pics
may buy a spare shell if i get some extra cash and then weld that up in the bay if it hasnt been done just incase something happens with the black one then i can pull that apart and build it into the spare shell :thumb:
come pick up that gte shell
napalm_27
14-05-10, 02:12 AM

its ok mate everything is now fine
all boosting up nicely no pops and bangs and going over 3k rpm
(it had a little hissy fit)
stopped the oil leak got the alternator on and belt on
all i need to do now is bleed the brakes put the wheels on and lower her to the floor
then finish off the dash/wiring and bucket seat :thumb:
